I was online last night and I saw flat out racism towards WNBA player Alyssa Thomas. She had a incident with Caitlin Clark in which her hands touched the throat area of Clark. No doubt in my mind it was a accident. Thomas has NEVER been known as a dirty player. NEVER. But sorry to say white folks were on X calling Thomas “a thug” and she should never be allowed again to play in the WNBA and much more negativity.

Truly truly sad. It got me angry. It showed me once again that racism is alive and well in America everyone! Also what got me mad and I have been angry about this for a while is folks calling Clark “The Face of the WNBA” THIS IS BS!! CAITLIN CLARK IS NOT THE FACE OF THE WNBA!

The face of the WNBA is or should be A’Ja Wilson! EXCUSE ME. Wilson has won WNBA MVP FOUR TIMES!! Has three WNBA titles, two Olympic Gold medals, and two World Cup medals. Can Clark come near the record Wilson has? Hell no! And Wilson is only 29. More titles and MVPs to obtain ladies and gentlemen.

So why do many white folks say Clark is the “Face of the WNBA”? This is CRAZY!! This is wrong! Why is it Clark is doing so many commercials on TV for State Farm and Gatorade and more? And Wilson is not? Is it because Clark is white? I say YES. I know some of you may say I am playing “the race card” A term ONLY used against African Americans. So be it.

I am saying what I truly feel. And not only that, A’ja Wilson is a smart/intelligent and oh yeah beautiful lady. So it is myself saying again, A’JA WILSON IS THE FACE OF THE WNBA AND NOT CAITLIN CLARK. Tired of reading that Clark fills up arenas to watch her play. Wilson fills up arenas too!! Because she is the best player in the WNBA, not Clark!!
