Where Was The African Americans At The Golden Globes?

VIDEO OF TRACY MORGAN AT GOLDEN GLOBES/Access Hollywood- (click here to watch)

P.S I watched the pre show on E and their was only a handful of African American entertainers interviewed by Ryan Seacrest and his crew.

Beyonce, Diddy, Tracy Morgan and a few others. This is terrible and wrong. Where were the African Americans and people of color on the Golden Globes telecast on E?

Are their African Americans in Hollywood? Are they in movies? Where are the juicy roles for African American ladies? It was terrible watching the telecast on E and not seeing African Americans being interviewed.

You cannot tell me that Tracy Morgan is not talented enough to win a Golden Globe or Emmy. He is very very funny and talented. Something is very very wrong in Hollywood.

When we can elect our first African American president, where are the African Americans in prominent roles in Hollywood? Besides Will and Denzel and a few others?

So I do not blame Tracy for saying what he said at the Globes. He and others need to stand up and say “How come we are not getting nominated for Golden Globes and Emmy’s? Is Hollywood being fair? If you watched the Golden Globes and if you are a African American or person of color it would make you wonder if something is wrong in Hollywood when it comes to African Americans and people of color.

Maybe President Obama will say something about this when he becomes president. But a shout out to Morgan for standing up and saying a few things on this issue at the Golden Globes.

Because if you watched the pre-show on E you would wonder if their are African Americans making movies or doing TV shows in Hollywood. If you have a comment on this please let us know. Gordon Curvey
