Nominees named for the 2009 NAACP Image Awards on Feb 12th (full story click here)

P.S Thank god for the NAACP Image Awards. Because if you watch other award pre-shows etc, you would think people of color are nowhere in sight in Hollywood.

It is the “ole boy network” in full effect where people of color get passed over time and time again as nominees and winners.

Which of course is different with the NAACP Image Awards. Because they recognize people of color in Hollywood that are in movies and TV show and let them shine in the spotlight.
