P.S. Shout out to the new champs for 08-09 in the NBA the Los Angeles Lakers after beating the Orlando Magic 99-86 in Orlando.

Superstar Kobe Bryant won MVP for the series. Bryant won his fourth title and the first without the big fella Shaquille O’Neal.

Also head coach Phil Jackson (Jackson and M.I.C-TV G.C in pic) won his unreal 10th title. He won six titles with MJ and Pippin and the Chicago Bulls and this is his fourth with the Lakers. You can really say he has 11 rings total because he won a title as a player with the New York Knicks.

When the NBA season ends I quickly get real depressed as a sports fan because I am a die hard basketball fan and a die hard NBA fan. I have to wait for the season to start in the fall.

Since our Seattle Sonics are gone, the Lakers are “my team” and I follow our Seattle natives Jamal Crawford, Nate Robinson, Jerry Terry, Spencer Hawes, Rodney Stuckey and others to see how they are doing.

Hopefully one day we here in Seattle can have a night for Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp to show them our respect for what they did for the sports fans of Seattle. Again congrats to the Los Angeles Lakers. G.C.
