Hope everyone is doing well. Ladies and gentlemen a new “Sports Inner City TV @ The ESPYs” is now broadcasting on television AND online 24-7 on demand!
With yours truly on the red carpet at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California at the 2025 ESPYs. It was very hot again on the carpet. This was my fourth time covering the event on the red carpet. I want to thank ESPN of allowing me to travel from my home-studio here in Seattle to Los Angeles/Hollywood to cover the event.
I was able to interview a lot of sports stars current and ex stars. Like Seattle Sonic star and Hall of Fame member Spencer Haywood. (pic of myself and Haywood on the red carpet below)
Of course we discussed the possible return of our Sonics to the NBA and when Adam Silver will FINALLY make the doggone announcement. Hopefully before another Hall of Famer Lenny Wilkens leaves us. A statue was just put up for Lenny in front of Climate Pledge Arena a few weeks ago of Lenny too.
One day a statue of Haywood will go up and Gary Payton too. I also interviewed Los Angeles Laker showtime member and NBA star Byron Scott on the carpet. And many others.
What really stood out for me being on the red carpet with many other media was how many were using there phones to conduct interviews. I could not believe it ladies and gentlemen. But then again, you can produce good looking 4k video using your phone.
The red carpet was PACKED! And I mean packed. But that is the way it is at such a huge event in the sports world. The ESPYs is the “Oscars” of sports. I was just happy to be their event though it was so damn hot!!
The “Sports Inner City TV @ The ESPYs” is airing on Comcast Xfinity On Demand/Xfinity X1/24-7 on demand in all west coast markets in Washington State-Oregon-California. On Comcast Xfinity On Demand go to “get local” and then “inner city”. On Xfinity x1 go to “Xfinity Services” and the “get local” and then look for the “inner city TV” folder.
And NOW I am streaming our programs via this website. Just click the big camcorder. Watch via your smartphone, tablet, iphone, desktop or mac. Because of VERY VERY high cable bills, people are cutting the cord. And watching content online on there phones or on there pc etc.
Yes, Comcast have been very nice to me. I am very very thankful.
