The 2026 BET Awards will take place June 28th and will air at 5pm Seattle time on BET, BET HER, CMT, LOGO, MTV, MTV 2, Nickelodeon, Paramount, POP, VHI, Comedy Central and TV Land. WOW a lot of channels. It takes place at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.  Also the BET Experience takes place June 26-27 at various locations. There will be a celebrity basketball game, and concerts and much more!

The BET Awards will be hosted by comic Druski. The awards will be divided into music, general, film/tv, and sports categories. Cardi B leads six nominations with Kendrick Lamarr and Marich the Scientist has five each.  Doechii, Doja Cat, Clipse, Teyana Taylor, Latto and Olivia Dean obtained four nominatrions.

ASAP Rocky, Bruno Mars, Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, Kehlani, SZA, Metro Boomin, T.I. and Tasha Cobbs Leonard and YK got three nominations.

Ladies and gentlemen this year, the BET Awards will feature two new categories, the Fashion Vanguard Award for cultural impact in fashion and also the Pulse Award for a creater, campaign or content series making a powerful impact on Black culture.

Finally, Connie Orland, EVP, special, music programming and music strategy, at BET, said recently “All of our nominees represent the very best of black culture across music, film, sports, and beyond and with the introduction of the Fashion Vanguard Award and the Pulse Award, we are proud to honor even more of the ways our culture continues to show up and evolve,”
