P.S As a sports fan who is here in Seattle I am happy as hell that Ken Griffey Jr. is returning to the Seattle Mariners to wear #24 again.

We have been feeling really down in the last year or so after the departure of our Seattle Sonics of the NBA to Oklahoma City. As we know they are now the Oklahoma City Thunder.

With the return of Grif Jr. we can have something to be happy about besides the great play of the University of Washington Huskies basketball team.

I can now watch Mariners games and have something to look forward to. Grif Jr. coming to the plate.

At 39, we cannot expect him to be the “old” Ken Griffey Jr. But hopefully he can make a great catch or hit a long homer in the stands now and then.

And also this is good for young African American fans of Griffey. They can now wear there Griffey jersey’s again. And it may help young African American kids to play baseball again. Because Grif Jr. did a lot for kids in the inner city of Seattle. Working with Rainier Vista Boys and Girls Club and buying them a new van and taking a bunch of kids to Disneyland every year.

All I can say is WELCOME BACK KEN GRIFFEY JR.!!! Gordon Curvey
