P.S. \"\"<\/a>Comedian\/actress\/talk show host Mo’nique was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” for her role in “Precious” and Gabourey Sidibe was nominated for “Best Actress” by both the Golden Globes and the Critics Choices Awards.<\/p>\n

This is great news for Sidibe and Mon’nique AND African American actresses in Hollywood who many feel have not been given good roles to play like other actresses in Hollywood.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This is Sidibe first movie and she gets nominated for a big award. That is off the hook!!! And I am very happy for Mo’nique who is now a “triple threat”. She is for sure doing it big time!! And by the way her nightly talk show is great. It is like a “Arsenio Hall” remake. I watch it every night.<\/p>\n

She always has hip-hop and r&b artists on her show as well as people that you do not see on “The Tonight Show” and “David Letterman” and other late night programs. She is allowing them to be seen and heard. This is great!!!<\/p>\n

That will be great if both ladies win!! Soon the nominations come out for the Oscars. I will be writing about that soon right here on “Music Inner City News Magazine”\u00a0\u00a0 Gordon Curvey<\/p>\n
